Has the search for your next daily driver led you to the full-size SUV segment? Well, if so, we here at Fred Beans Ford of West Chester Inc. think you should make a point to give ours, the 2017 Explorer, a go.
Why's that, you ask?
Check the clip below to find out; here now with more on all things Explorer are the good folks at MotorWeek:
The Explorer's mid-level engine -- a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder -- promises to be one of the more popular selections.
Available as an option on the Base and XLT models, the four-cylinder joins with a six-speed automatic transmission to generate a hearty 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard, while an all-wheel platform is optional.
We'd also note that this engine is especially economical when had in front-drive form; so equipped, it'll return 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway).
To learn more about this capable crossover, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our West Chester, PA location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the current lineup.
